Norse Mini Statue - Valkyrie (Bronze)

"Valkyrie" is a collective term for a group of female warrior deities in Norse mythology, rather than a single god.  They swerve the chief god, Odin, and are responsible for selecting fallen warrior from the battlefield and guiding them to Valhalla, the great hall in Asgard, where the spirits of the courageous fighters continue to battle and feast in the afterlife.  Often appearing as beautiful, fierce women wearing armor and carrying weapons, Valkyries are associated with heroism, strength, determination, and the power to influence the outcome of conflicts.
